Sky Comedy has given I Talk Telly an EXCLUSIVE first look at series two of Bloods, the hit comedy starring Jane Horrocks and Samson Kayo as a pair of seemingly mismatched paramedics.
After a successful first series in 2021, Bloods - created by Nathan Bryon and Samson Kayo and written by Nathan Bryon and Paul Doolan - returns in 2022 for 10 brand new episodes, split into two parts, with the first five episodes arriving in March.
Jane Horrocks and Samson Kayo return as oddball paramedics Wendy and Maleek as we continue to follow them and their paramedic colleagues in the life-saving world of a south London emergency service.
Also returning are Lucy Punch as boisterous station boss Jo and Julian Barratt as grieving widower Lawrence. Adrian Scarborough and Aasiya Shah are also back as Gary and Kareshma, two paramedics with diametrically opposing career outlooks. And Kevin Garry and Sam Campbell return as the glued-to-the-hip duo of paramedics Darrell and Darryl.
Joining the series for the first time are Katherine Kelly as the ambulance station’s acting counsellor and listening ear and Nathan Foad as Wendy’s deeply irritating son, Spencer.
If you missed my chat with Jane Horrocks and Samson Kayo from series one, you can still read it here.
