Whilst her approach may be unorthodox, Faith is determined to help Liv and get her back on track. But when Faith falls over, Chas and Cain are convinced she’s drunk. But Faith is scared, avoiding confronting her worrying symptoms.
Eventually, Manpreet convinces a reluctant Faith to undergo some tests. Terrified, Faith knows something is seriously wrong.
Faith avoids divulging her health worries to Pollard after he spots something is seriously wrong, but when she collapses in a shocking fashion, he realises she needs medical attention and Manpreet arranges an urgent MRI.
When left alone with Pollard, Faith confesses her fear that her cancer has come back. As Pollard continues to look out for Faith, an unknowing Brenda confides to David and Meena about feeling neglected by Pollard - and prepares a romantic surprise for him.
At the hospital, Faith sends Pollard away and he reluctantly leaves her alone to face her fate. The next day, Pollard catches up with Faith and invites her to spend another night at the barn. However, when Brenda finds Faith in her house, wearing Pollard's bathrobe, she's appalled and doesn't want to hear their explanations.
When Chas happens upon the scene, she gives her mum both barrels and leaves before Faith can tell her the truth. After Faith begs him to keep her secret from her family, until she knows for sure what she's facing, Pollar explains he sympathises but won’t throw away his relationship with Brenda.
Faith is left with no choice, but to come clean to Brenda and her family, today.
