FIRST LOOK After Life

Today Netflix have released four new images from Ricky Gervais' new comedy After Life and have also announced when it will air.

The six-part series marks Ricky's first return to television since Derek bowed out with a Christmas special in 2014.

Ricky plays Tony, who had the perfect life but when his wife Lisa, played by Kerry Godliman, suddenly dies he changes. Trying to put down punish the world one savage put-down at a time. He's joined by a cast of hilarious British comedians and actors on an emotional rollercoaster.

After contemplating taking his own life, he decides instead to live long enough to punish the world by saying and doing whatever he likes from now on. He thinks it’s like a Super Power — not caring about himself or anyone else, but it turns out to be tricky when everyone is trying to save the nice guy they used to know.

The cast includes former Extras co-star Ashley Jensen, former Derek co-stars Joe Wilkinson and David Earl, Jo Hartley, Mandeep Dhillon and Roisin Conaty who all starred in David Brent: Live on the Road as well as Tom Basden, Tony Way, Tracy Ann Oberman, Penelope Wilton, David Bradley, Brian Gittins, Paul Kaye and Diane Morgan.
