Who will Dawn choose?

Ahead of the wedding of Dawn and Joe Tate later this month, Emmerdale has premiered a brand-new conceptual trailer, featuring Olivia Bromley, Ned Porteous and Jay Kontzle, heightening anticipation for their wedding.

However, the road to the altar is paved with tension, and despite the upcoming nuptials, a secret kiss between Dawn and her ex-partner, Billy, has already cast a shadow over the celebrations.

The drama escalated when Billy was brutally attacked, and he currently remains in a coma, with suspicion falling heavily on Joe.

Although Joe has been released from police custody, Dawn is caught in an emotional tug-of-war, desperate to maintain faith in her fiancé’s innocence despite the mounting pressure.

In tomorrow’s episode (Tuesday, 4th August), the stakes rise as Dawn learns that doctors intend to bring Billy out of his coma.

While she clings to the hope that he will identify his attacker and clear the air, Joe’s stoic and unreadable reaction leaves everyone questioning what truly happened.

Speaking ahead of Dawn and Joe's wedding, Emmerdale producer, Laura Shaw, said "The run up to Dawn and Joe’s wedding will be far from straightforward but the week of the wedding is even more dramatic! The day will end in tragedy with the consequences having ramifications that will impact the villagers' lives for years to come."
