FIRST LOOK Bad Sisters

Apple TV+ have announced the title, cast and first look image for Sharon Horgan's highly anticipated 10-part series, Bad Sisters.


Set to launch later this year, Bad Sisters promises to blend dark comedy and thriller, following the lives of the Garvey sisters, who are bound together by the premature death of their parents and a promise to always protect one another.


Bad Sisters is written and executive produced by Sharon Horgan, with Brett Baer and Dave Finkel who adapted it from the Belgian version of the series Clan, which was created by Malin-Sarah Gozin.


Starring alongside Sharon Horgan are Anne-Marie Duff, Eva Birthistle, Sarah Greene and Eve Hewson as the Garvey sisters with Claes Bang, Brian Gleeson, Daryl McCormack, Assaad Bouab and newcomer Saise Quinn as part of the ensemble cast.


Bad Sisters is the first project from Sharon Horgan to premiere as part of a first look deal with Apple TV+ and Merman who will produce the series with ABC Signature, a part of Disney Television Studios.


Executive producing alongside Horgan, will be Faye Dorn and Clelia Mountford for Merman and Gozin, Bert Hamelinck and Michael Sagol for Caviar.


In addition to Horgan, Baer and Finkel, the series is written by Karen Cogan, Ailbhe Keogan, Daniel Cullen, Perrie Balthazar and Paul Howard with Dearbhla Walsh, Josephine Bornebusch and Rebecca Gatward directing.


Bad Sisters will air later this year on Apple TV+
