Can Maggie and her special brand of chaos find space in Eddie’s new life?

Channel 4 has released a number of first look photos from the upcoming second series of their hit comedy Big Mood, written and created by Camilla Whitehill.

Series one became Channel 4 streaming’s highest new comedy launch since Derry Girls and series two will see Nicola Coughlan and Lydia West will both return as Maggie and Eddie.

Also returning are Robert Gilbert as Will, Eamon Farren as Krent, Niamh Cusack as Gillian, Amalia Vitale as Anya, Luke Fetherston as Ryan, Rebecca Lowman as Vanessa, Stephen Sobal as Owen and Kate Fleetwood as Clara.

It's been a year since they last saw each other, without any contact between the best friends. When Eddie suddenly returns for a wedding, she isn’t alone; Maggie has competition, in the form of an infuriatingly positive spiritual healer named Whitney.

Can Maggie and her special brand of chaos find space in Eddie’s new life? Or will Maggie lose Eddie forever?

Joining the cast of Big Mood for series two are Hannah Onslow, Robert Lindsay, Marina Bye, Marcus Collins, Munroe Bergdorf, Kyran Thrax, Kelly Campbell, Leo Wan, Zachary Hart and John Locke.

Written and created by Camilla Whitehill and made by Dancing Ledge Productions, series two of Big Mood will be directed by Rebecca Asher and executive produced by Lotte Beasley Mestriner, Laurence Bowen and Chris Carey.
