A first look trailer has been released ahead of new BBC One comedy Black Ops launching on Friday 5th May.
New BBC One comedy Black Ops has been co-created by Gbemisola Ikumelo and Akemnji Ndifornyen, who'll also star alongside Hammed Animashaun in this East London-set six-part comedy thriller.
Black Ops tells the story of Dom and Kay, played by Gbemisola and Ajemnji, two Police Community Support Officers who join the Met Police in the hope of cleaning up their community.
However, they quickly find themselves unwittingly thrust into the murky world of deep-cover infiltration. For Dom and Kay, their lives become more of a fiasco than Donnie Brasco.
Black Ops also features an exceptional supporting cast including Ariyon Bakare, Joanna Scanlan, Robbie Gee, Jo Martin, Felicity Montagu, Colin Hoult, Jaz Hutchins, Rufus Jones, Lucian Msamati, Katherine Kelly, Alex Macqueen, Emma Sidi, Tyger Drew-Honey, Alan Ford, Kerry Howard and Zoë Wanamaker.
Created, and executive produced by Gbemisola Ikumelo, Akemnji Ndifornyen and co-written and executive produced by Joe Tucker and Lloyd Woolf Black Ops has also been executive produced by Josh Cole for BBC Studios, directed by Ben Gregor and produced by Carol Harding.
Black Ops starts Friday 5th May at 9.30pm on BBC One
