FIRST LOOK Cheat

Today ITV have released the first image from their upcoming four-part drama Cheat, starring Katherine Kelly and Molly Windsor.

The psychological thriller will air soon on ITV and has been written by newcomer Gaby Hull and produced by Two Brothers Pictures (The Missing, Strangers).

At the heart of the drama is the dangerous relationship between university professor Leah, played by Katherine Kelly (Mr Selfridge), and her student Rose, Molly Windsor (Three Girls).

What might begin as a seemingly open and shut case of academic deception, quickly spirals out of control, ending in fatal consequences, and triggering a devastating sequence of events that threaten to engulf them both.

With two fiercely intelligent minds unwilling to back down, Cheat promises to keep audiences guessing from the start, exploring just how far we’re prepared to stand up for what we believe, and at what cost.

Also starring in Cheat are Tom Goodman-Hill (Humans) who plays Leah’s university professor husband, Adam, Lorraine Ashbourne (Unforgotten) and Peter Firth (Spooks) who play her parents Angela and Michael and Adrian Edmondson (Bancroft) who plays Rose's father, William.

Cheat airs later this year on ITV
