FIRST LOOK G'Wed

And look who's returning to our screens!

ITV2 has released several first look images from the upcoming third series of their hit comedy G'wed, which follows the lives of working-class teenagers from Liverpool.

Series three reunites Dylan Thomas-Smith, Jake Kenny-Byrne, Max Ainsworth, Dominic Murphy, Zak Douglas, Amber Harrison, Gemma Barraclough and Evie Ward-Drummond as Reece, Christopher, Connor, Ted, Mo, Aimee, Mia-Louise and The Brimble.

The new series promises to be funnier and bolder than ever, tackling powerful and thought-provoking themes from the refugee crisis to women in sport and one of the series’ returning characters managing life with OCD.

Series three of G'wed also sees the TV return of Brookside legend Jennifer Ellison, who reopens old wounds for beloved character, Aimee, when she enters the scene as her estranged mum, Anna, and turns her world upside down.

And fellow Brookie icon, Sunetra Sarker, returns to play Mo's mum, Amal.

Made by Golden Path Productions, the new series of G'wed is written by Danny Kenny, directed by Chloe English and Owain Pennington, who makes his directorial debut and executive produced by Marios Stylianides.
