FIRST LOOK Love Island 2017

After what feels like FOREVER, Love Island is finally back and ITV have revealed the initial 11 Islanders hoping to follow in the footsteps of last year’s successful couples.

On Monday 5th June at 9pm, Caroline Flack will introduce this year’s fresh batch of sexy singletons. With all of them in search of the summer of their lives, there’s bound to be passion, romance and drama from the outset.

So what’s changed? Well. There’s a brand new villa! That’s right, the new villa has been described as a “luxury paradise” and will play host to the love and lust as the temperatures are raised and the pulses race faster than ever before.

To remain in their spectacular sun kissed surroundings, the Islanders will have to couple up, winning the hearts of each other and the public, who will ultimately decide who stays on Love Island.

This year’s series will be also be accompanied by a weekly live studio show in the UK, Love Island: Aftersun, which will keep Love Island on everyone’s lips throughout the summer. Each week, Caroline Flack will be joined by a panel of different celebrity guests, with the show offering viewers first reaction to the goings on in the villa, exclusive interviews with dumped Islanders as well as all the gossip.

Same as last year, whenever Caroline pops in to the villa throughout the series, the Islanders should brace themselves for a bombshell of the shock announcement and surprise twist variety.

So shall we meet this year’s first group of Islanders? Yes, lets. Here they are...

Amber Davies

20, Dancer from South Wales

"I don’t cause trouble for no reason. I’m not fake, I’m very real and that’s what all my friends like about me. Maybe I’ve slept with a big name, but girls don’t kiss and tell!"

Camilla Thurlow

27, Explosive Ordnance Disposal from Dumfries

"If people are meant to be together I would never do anything to come between them. Given the nature of the show and the type of game it is, there might be times when that’s not as clear cut as it would be in normal life. I certainly wouldn’t go after someone that somebody was already coupled with."

Chloe Crowhurst

22, Executive Assistant from Essex

"I think I’m really personable and bubbly and outgoing. I'm a bit clumsy and funny and I don't take myself too seriously. Every boy I've ever been with has cheated on me!"

Dominic Lever

26, Careers Advisor from Manchester

"I'm not just a pretty face! I've got the chat as well. Good looking people tend to be absolute melts but I've got good chat to back it up. I've been single for a year and a half, and I've enjoyed being able to do what I want. But all my mates have girlfriends now, and I'm the only single one. I need a wingman. I want to have fun, and enjoy life in general."

Harley Judge

22, Groundsworker from Norwich

"I think I’m quite polite and down to earth and very genuine. I’m not pretending to be somebody I’m not. I live by my means. On a night out I’m usually the loudest one. My volume goes up by 10 and my confidence goes through the roof."

Jessica Shears

23, Glamour Model from Devon

"I've been chatted up by a few celebrities. Reality stars, mainly - they're the same ones that message everybody! They will DM me and all my girlfriends and they don't seem to realise that we all talk to each other. There's nothing more gross than a guy sending messages to all your friends saying the same thing. They're idiots!"

Kem Cetinay

21, Hairdresser from Essex

"I'm a bit of a cheeky chappy, really funny, and I don't take myself too seriously. But I'm also very emotional. I wear my heart on my sleeve. I'm all in or out, nothing in between. I think I'm enjoyable to be with. I fall for girls very easily. It's been my downfall because I make it so obvious when I like a girl. I might get a bit clingy. I've done hair for Spencer Matthews, Calum Best, and the TOWIE boys, Pete Wicks, Arg, the standard guys. I get on well with them. I do look at the way girls react to them and I do think, 'I wouldn't mind a bit of that!’"

Marcel Somerville

31, Music Professional from London

"I'm going to be a great islander because girls love me, I've got great energy and I'm always positive. I've basically got a great all-round personality. I'm not going to lie, I do find it quite easy to find girls. I was in Blazin' Squad. They were the best days of my life. People do still recognise me when I'm out. During the day I don't think they do. But when I go out, I do look a bit more 'in your face' so they put two and two together. People the majority of the time want a selfie. I think I look really different these days, though. I feel like I've got much better looking!"

Montana Brown

21, Economics Student from Hertfordshire

"I think people would probably call me quite posh! I will admit I've been brought up well and I've been really lucky to go a private school. I'm lucky to have had good opportunities in my life.

I've never been in the newspapers myself but my ex was a footballer. I was seeing a couple of professional rugby players too."

Olivia Attwood

26, Motorsport Grid Girl from Surrey

"I’ve been told I’m funny. I’ve got quite an immature sense of humour, and I can be quite naughty.

I’m addicted to my phone and the internet, so not having that will be really strange. I’m hoping that I won’t really notice. Also dating without things like WhatsApp because usually you have a little stalk or you build off a flirty Snapchat but it will be very different getting to know them purely face-to-face."

Sam Gowland

21, Oil Rig Worker from Middlesborough

"I'm a little bit different to everyone else. I don't beat around the bush: I'm going on to win the show, not to make friends! At the end of the day, it's a competition. I'm there to find love, yes, but I'm also there to win. And if I have to step on someone's toes to do that, then I will do! I know Holly Hagan, she lives around the corner from me. My cousin is Jonathan Grounds, he plays football for Birmingham City."
