The ninth Netflix adaptation of a Harlan Coben novel will air in the new year!
Earlier this year it was revealed that following the huge success of Fool Me Once, Harlan Coben's 2014 novel Missing You and his 2019 novel Run Away will be adapted into limited series for Netflix.
Today they have released a number of first look images from the first of those two dramas to air, Missing You which follows what happens when 11 years after her fiancé Josh's disappearance, Detective Kat Donovan discovers the love of her life whilst swiping profiles on a dating app.
Having not heard from him in 11 years, Kat's world explodes all over again when she suddenly sees his face. Josh's reappearance will force her to dive back into the Missing You mystery surrounding her father’s murder and uncover long-buried secrets from her past.
Missing You stars Rosalind Eleazar in the lead role as Kat Donovan, a detective specialising in Missing Persons. Starring alongside her are Ashley Walters, Richard Armitage, Sir Lenny Henry, Steve Pemberton, Jessica Plummer and James Nesbitt. As well as Marc Warren, Samantha Spiro, Lisa Faulkner, Mary Malone, Matt Jay-Willis and Rudi Dharmalingam.
Written by Victoria Asare-Archer and produced by Quay Street Productions, the five-part drama is produced by Guy Hescott and directed by Nimer Rashed, with Isher Sahota as Second Director. It will be executive-produced by Harlan Coben, Nicola Shindler, Richard Fee, Victoria Asare-Archer and Danny Brocklehurst.
Missing You marks the 9th on-screen Harlan Coben adaptation to air on Nerflix.
