And this time the Slow Horses are on the run!

Apple TV has revealed a first look at the sixth series of Slow Horses, which will return weekly from Wednesday 16th September.

Slow Horses is a darkly humorous espionage drama that follows a dysfunctional team of British intelligence agents who serve in a dumping ground department of MI5 known unaffectionately as Slough House.

Gary Oldman returns as Jackson Lamb, the brilliant but cantankerous leader of the spies who end up in Slough House due to their career-ending mistakes and who frequently find themselves blundering around the smoke and mirrors of the espionage world.

In the new series, the Slow Horses find themselves on the run as Diana Taverner embroils them all in a fatally high-stakes game of retaliation and revenge.

The ensemble cast includes Kristin Scott Thomas, Jack Lowden, Saskia Reeves, Christopher Chung, Aimee-Ffion Edwards, Rosalind Eleazar, Joanna Scanlan, Samuel West, Ruth Bradley, Tom Brooke, Jonathan Pryce and Hugo Weaving, alongside new addition, Lenny Rush.

Made by See-Saw Films, the new series of Slow Horses is adapted for television by co-executive producer Gaby Chiappe, directed by Randall and executive produced by Jamie Laurenson, Hakan Kousetta, Julian Stevens, Iain Canning, Emile Sherman, Adam Randall, Gail Mutrux, Douglas Urbanski and Gary Oldman.
