FIRST LOOK Succession 4

A new trailer for the fourth season of Succession has been released alongside three new images, as it's confirmed that the series will return Monday 27th March on Sky Atlantic.

The ten-part series, created by Jesse Armstrong, will continue to explore themes of power and family dynamics through the eyes of patriarch Logan Roy, played by Brian Cox and his four grown children, Kendall, Siobhan, Roman and Connor, played by Jeremy Strong, Sarah Snook, Kieran Culkin and Alan Ruck.

In the fourth season, the sale of media conglomerate Waystar Royco to tech visionary Lukas Matsson, played by Alexander Skarsgård, moves ever closer. The prospect of this seismic sale provokes existential angst and familial division among the Roys as they anticipate what their lives will look like once the deal is complete.

A power struggle ensues as the family weighs up a future where their cultural and political weight is severely curtailed.

Each episode will be made available at the same time as the US premiere each week at 2am, and on demand thereafter.

The cast also includes Matthew Macfadyen, Nicholas Braun, J. Smith-Cameron, Peter Friedman, David Rasche, Fisher Stevens, Hiam Abbass, Justine Lupe, Dagmara Domińczyk, Arian Moayed, Scott Nicholson, Zoë Winters, Annabelle Dexter-Jones, Juliana Canfield, Jeannie Berlin, Cherry Jones, Hope Davis, Justin Kirk and Stephen Root.

Returning will be Harriet Walter, James Cromwell, Natalie Gold, Caitlin Fitzgerald, Ashley Zukerman, Larry Pine, Mark-Linn Baker and Pip Torrens.

And newly announced cast includes Annabeth Gish, Adam Godley, Eili Harboe, and Jóhannes Haukur Jóhannesson.

Succession is executive produced by showrunner Jesse Armstrong alongside Adam McKay, Frank Rich, Kevin Messick, Jane Tranter, Mark Mylod, Tony Roche, Scott Ferguson, Jon Brown, Lucy Prebble, Will Tracy and Will Ferrell.
