Here’s a first look at the opening episode of ITV’s new Saturday night series starring Keith Lemon and Paddy McGuinness, The Keith & Paddy Picture Show.
Earlier this week, I attended the world premiere of Dirty Dancing in London’s Leicester Square. Of course what I actually watched was the first episode of The Keith & Paddy Picture Show which sees Keith Lemon and Paddy McGuinness re-enact some of the world’s most-loved movies.
First up is Dirty Dancing, which sees Keith play Frances "Baby" Houseman and Paddy play Johnny Castle, played in the original by Patrick Swayze of course. They’ll be joined by the first group of guest stars; Larry Lamb, Jessica Hynes, John Barrowman and Kimberly Wyatt.
This isn’t a frame by frame remake though. It’s an entire film, cut down to an ITV half hour, complete with re-enactments, behind-the-scenes clips and commentary! Quite how they get it all to make sense in less than half an hour I’ll never know, but they do.
Here’s a first look at what you can expect from the first episode...
