Jordan Gray's new workplace comedy launches later this month!

ITV has released a first look at Jordan Gray's new comedy, Transaction, which launches Tuesday 24th June, with all episodes available at launch on ITVX, and airing weekly after Love Island on ITV2.

The six-part workplace comedy created by and starring Jordan Gray, sees the comedy performer star as Liv, a transgender egomaniac, causing havoc in the strange world of the supermarket nightshift.

Having been hired to work there by Pellocks boss Simon, played by Nick Frost, after he inadvertently offended the LGBTQ+ community with an ill-conceived marketing campaign, Liv soon realises she’s unsackable and sets about turning the store into her own personal playground, unleashing chaos on everyone and everything around her.

Starring alongside Jordan Gray and Nick Frost will be Doon Mackichan, Thomas Gray, Francesca Mills and Kayla Meikle.

Produced by Big Talk Studios Transaction is written and created by Jordan Gray, produced by Lara Singer, directed by Ollie Parsons and executive produced by Kenton Allen, Lucy Robinson, Jordan Gray, and Nick Frost.

The series is produced in association with and will be distributed by ITV Studios with additional funding support from the North East Screen Industries Partnership delivered by North East Screen.

Transaction was piloted for Comedy Central in 2020 and released on YouTube as a series of six short episodes.

Transaction launches Tuesday 24th June after Love Island on ITV2

The show is a workplace comedy set on a supermarket night shift and follows Liv, a transgender “egomaniac” whose Slither io presence throws the already odd late-night retail world into chaos.
