Vicky McClure is back as Lana Washington!

ITV has today released a number of first look images and trailer from the upcoming third series of their hit drama Trigger Point which returns very soon on ITV1.

In this series, Lana Washington, played once again by Vicky McClure, and the team of bomb disposal officers, known as Expo’s, continue to dedicate themselves to keeping the capital safe from explosive devices and terrorist threats.

Across six new episodes, the experienced team investigate a bomb threat that soon reveals itself to be the start of a sinister vendetta: someone is targeting individuals and demanding revenge.

Working alongside the Police Counterterrorism Unit, the Bomb Disposal Squad race against time to find the bomber before they claim their next victim.

Returning cast includes Eric Shango, Nabil Elouahabi, Natalie Simpson and Maanuv Thiara with guest star Jason Flemyng.

Produced by HTM Television in association with All3Media International, the third series of Trigger Point was directed by Jamie Donoghue and Audrey Cooke, series produced by Kristian Dench and block produced by Kingsley Hoskins (The Road Trip, The Flatshare) as block producer and with Chris Brandon as lead writer. And it's been executive produced by Jed Mercurio, Daniel Walker, Jessica Sharkey, Chris Brandon and Vicky McClure.

Series two averaged 8.1m viewers, making it the second most watched drama on ITV1 in 2024, behind Mr Bates vs The Post Office, and a fourth series has already been commissioned for 2026.
