Lana Washington is BACK!



ITV1 has released a number of first look images from the fourth series of Trigger Point, which launches soon, along with a longer length trailer.


Vicky McClure returns to play the fearless but troubled, Lana Washington, who will confront her greatest challenge yet.



These new images show Lana in action, together with fellow bomb disposal officers, known as EXPOs, including Danny, played by Eric Shango and Hass, played by Nabil Elouahabi.



There are also images from inside the police HQ with DS Helen Morgan and DCI Batra, played by Natalie Simpson and Maanuv Thiara, as well as guest star Julie Graham, who plays Commander Nia Quentin.



The new trailer provides a thrilling glimpse of what Lana and the team are facing this time as they continue their quest to keep the capital safe from explosive devices and terrorist threats.


Ahead of the show’s return, Vicky McClure said “I love working with the team, we have a great time making the show and I cannot wait to continue Lana’s journey on Trigger Point.”


To which ITV’s Director of Drama, Polly Hill, added “I’m delighted that this thrilling series is returning for a fourth series. I know audiences will be once again on the edge of their seat as Lana and the team take us on another thrilling ride to keep the capital safe.”


Made by HTM Television, in association with All3Media International, the new series of Trigger Point is written by Chris Brandon, directed by Jennie Darnell and Nirpal Bhogal, with series producer Kristian Dench and block producer Kingsley Hoskins. And it’s executive produced by Jed Mercurio, Daniel Walker, Jessica Sharkey, Chris Brandon and Vicky McClure.


Series 4 follows the success of the first three series, which have been streamed 91 million times and reached over 20 million viewers across ITV and ITVX. The last series was the 5th most-watched drama on ITV in 2025 and the 7th most-watched across all channels and streaming services, averaging 7 million viewers, with the launch attracting 7.4 million.
