When Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt first arrived onto Netflix in March 2015, I remember binging the entire lot over one weekend, and a quick look at Twitter revealed that I wasn’t the only one.
As it turned out, a series about a girl escaping after 15 years of being held captive in an underground bunker by a doomsday cult was bloody funny. The character of Kimmy Schmidt, played by Ellie Kemper, won the hearts of many worldwide as we watch her reclaim her life and start over in New York City.
After a 13 month wait came season two and now after 14 months, Netflix are finally about to deliver us season three in its entirety and thankfully key cast members Ellie Kemper, Tituss Burgess, Carol Kane and Jane Krakowski are all returning.
So what do we know about the new season of Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt? Well, this time around Kimmy is going to college and she’s also trying to get a divorce from Reverend Richard Wayne Gary Wayne.
Titus goes full Lemonade as he spots Mikey going into his apartment with another man and tries to get a job as Sesame Street.
Elsewhere, Lilian has broken up with Bobby and Laura Dern, Daveed Diggs, Rachel Dratch, Ray Liotta, Andrea Martin, and Maya Rudolph all make a guest appearance.
