Froggy stands up for Rex as Ro is quizzed over who he was seen with in Hollyoaks

But will he out Rex as being the 'older woman'?

After being told of their mum’s prognosis, the Hutchinson teens stay out of school, and when Tony brings up the option of chemotherapy, Diane is concerned about what the side effects will do to her quality of life.

Later, Kathleen-Angel arrives at The Dog flat wanting to know why the Hutchinson teens weren’t at school, and when Ro reveals his mum's diagnosis, Kathleen-Angel comforts her friends.

When Ste reveals to Diane and Tony that he saw Ro leave a taxi late last night with an older woman, all eyes turn to Ro to confess who he was with. Apologising for calling Diane selfish, Ro breaks down in his mum’s arms.

Comforting Dee Dee, Ant tells her they must stick together as they support their mum and dad through this tough time, and Diane listens in, pretending to be asleep.

Meanwhile, Rex tells Froggy he’s keeping his recent experimenting from Ste, and Froggy later joins Ste and Rex with the celebrant, reminding them that respect is key in a relationship.

Supporting Rex, Froggy sticks up for his grandson when Darren and Charlie arrive at the garage, annoyed to see the car still hasn’t been fixed, with Charlie’s test later that day.

While Froggy plays the piano, he and Rex share a heartfelt moment as Rex shares his gratitude for his grandad’s support.
