After 280,000 votes were registered in the 11th annual I Talk Telly Awards, it’s time to reveal the 2025 winners.

Since launching in 2015, the I Talk Telly Awards, created by founder Elliot Gonzalez, have now seen 2.8m votes registered, celebrating programmes and talent across Comedy, Drama, Entertainment, Lifestyle, Factual and Soaps.

Entirely voted for by the public, there were big wins this year for Coronation Street, The Traitors, Gavin & Stacey and Adolescence.

Coronation Street beat off all the other soaps to win four awards, including Best Soap for the first time since 2021. Following her Best Soap Newcomer win in 2024, Vicky Myers picked up two awards this year, including Best Soap Performance and Best Soap Partnership with Alison King.

New for 2025, the nominations for Soap Icon recognised huge milestone anniversaries for Coronation Street, EastEnders, Hollyoaks, and Neighbours, and it was Corrie original William Roache, who claimed victory, having played Ken Barlow since the show’s first ever episode 65 years ago this month.

Other top wins, include The Traitors which walked away with two awards, including Best Reality TV Show for The Celebrity Traitors and Claudia Winkleman for Best TV Presenter, Gavin & Stacey which won both of the categories it was nominated for, Best Returning Comedy and Best Comedy Partnership for James Corden and Ruth Jones, and Adolescence which won two awards, Best New Drama and Best Breakthrough for Owen Cooper.

Elsewhere, EastEnders walked away with two awards this year, Best Soap Newcomer for Dayo Koleosho and Best Soap Villain for Max Murray.

Those holding on to their 2024 wins, included Waterloo Road which once again was voted Best Returning Drama, Strictly Come Dancing which won Best Competition Show (previously Best Talent Show), Ant & Dec who held on to their Best TV Presenting Partnership win, Gogglebox which continued to win Best Factual Entertainment, and This Morning which won Best Daytime Show for the second year in a row.

Both Lenny Rush and Suranne Jones, who last won an I Talk Telly Award in 2022, picked up another award this year for Best Comedy Performance and Best Dramatic Performance, respectively, for Am I Being Unreasonable? and Hostage.

Other wins included Amandaland for Best New Comedy, The Graham Norton Show for Best Entertainment Show, The Morning Show for Best International Series and Victoria Beckham for Best Documentary.
