As Kush gets ready for a day out with Arthur and Whitney, he runs in to Gray who convinces Kush that it’s best to tell Arthur about his likely prison sentence without Whitney. Disappointed, Whitney calls Gray to say she can take the kids after all.
When Gray gets a call from the school as there’s an issue with Mack and the teacher is coming to see him. As Whitney offers him her support, Gray uses the opportunity to plant more seeds of doubt about Kush.
When Kush tells Whitney that he wants to spend the day with her, she tells him she has work at Gray's, so Kush plans a romantic evening instead.
Later, Gray asks Whitney to stay late with the kids, but her disappointment soon turns to delight when Kush brings the date to Gray’s house.
As things get romantic, Gray arrives home, furious to see what’s happening.
