Heartbreak in Hollyoaks as Diane passes away after final dance with Tony

Can Tony stay strong for the children?

Diane confides in Tony over her fears that Ro is bottling up his emotions again.

While the guests at Ste and Rex's wedding try to keep spirits high, Tony whisks Diane up for her favourite song, and the dancefloor is cleared with no dry eyes as they sway together.

Knowing she is nearing the end of life, Diane records nursery rhymes for her daughter Eva, reflecting on the happy memories of her time in the Hollyoaks village.

As Tony praises Ro for being brave, the family decide to bring Diane food as she rests upstairs.

Doing their best to cheer her up, Tony and the kids bring the party to Diane. Tony is worried that she's freezing, but Diane assures him that she is fine.

Whilst Tony puts Diane to bed, she thanks him for their dance today and asks him to leave the door open. Listening to Tony and her teenagers singing a nursery rhyme to Eva to get her to sleep, Diane passes away peacefully.
