Brookside crosses back into Hollyoaks Later, as the hedonistic teens party in Liverpool and Donny, Gemma and Warren Fox flee 'the Close' for the well-off suburbs, with lives in mortal danger.

The late-night spin-off will pick up from the end of the Hollyoaks crossover episode, with a tense escape from Brookside Close for detective Donny Clark.

At John Lennon airport, Hollyoaks’ jet-setting-wayward- McQueen, Theresa, risks her own freedom and Dodger’s police career by illegal smuggling, while fleeing a seemingly glamorous influencers life, gone wrong.

Filmed entirely on location in Liverpool city centre and Merseyside, Hollyoaks Later explores teenagers Dillon, Lucas, Vicky and Frankie, trying to navigate their lives and friendships amidst the confusing aftermath of child exploitation.

Framed by the intoxicating but looming cityscape, the youngsters try to blot out the events of the last year with mixed success. Newcomer and Brookside resident, Esme Dixon, Jacqui Dixon’s daughter, brings escapism for Frankie Osborne.

But gangland forces Sully and Griff, are a danger to Hollyoaks' undercover police officers and the wider communities. And buried secrets threaten the stability of crucial family ties.
