The following storylines will air 23rd-27th September at 6.30pm on Channel 4.
Maxine is confronted by James
After telling Damon she only has a few weeks left to live, she tries to get James to waive his legal fees. When he refuses, Damon decides to sell his half of The Loveboat. Discovering her latest lie, Sienna decides enough is enough and refuses to help her anymore. Whilst Damon arranges a meal at The Hutch for Maxine.
When James asks to see her medical records, Maxine panics. But after not managing to get hold of Levi, James becomes suspicious of Maxine who gets to Mitchell before James does. But spotting their exchange, James realises that the file is in Mitchell’s bag and gatecrashes his drinks with Scott at The Dog.
After retrieving her files, James confronts Maxine over faking her illness. But when Mitchell and Scott accidentally switch bags, Scott ends up with Maxine’s medical records!
With Sienna at boiling point, she slaps Maxine and tells her to face up to what she’s done.
Mitchell kisses Anita
With the house to themselves, Cleo invites Scott over to join her and Mitchell. As the men go for a drink together, Scott is roped into being Anita at The Dog as Mitchell watches on in awe. But when Scott tells Mitchell that they’re more than friends, Mitchell doesn’t want anything to do with him.
Wanting to know what's wrong with Mitchell, Martine talks to him and tells him to do what makes him happy. But with Cleo wanting to cheer him up, she takes him to watch Anita's show. Realising where he's been taken, he rushes out of The Dog.
When Anita questions what it is that he wants, Mitchell pulls her in for a passionate kiss.
Joel drops a bombshell
With the house to themselves, Joel opens up to Goldie about his plan to join the Church of England and become a vicar. When he tells Goldie that his faith will take a long time to sort out, she takes it the wrong way.
When Breda walks in and overhears, she's furious but Goldie wants Breda to be happy for them. And when she tells Cleo about their plan for Joel to switch churches to become a vicar so they can be together publicly, how will she react?
Elsewhere
Marnie has a surprise date lined up for James but covers that he’s the son of one of her friends. James quickly susses her out and scares his date away but later decides to give the dating app a try.
Liberty tries to put Sienna in a good mood by taking a pregnancy test and Breda visits a terrified Tony and tells him that she’s being tested, and people are getting in the way of her mission.
