Ian’s night takes a devastating turn after a knock at the door in EastEnders

This week on EastEnders, all the episodes take place over the course of one night. It's The Night that Changes Everything...

Following the drama at Vicki and Ross’ wedding ceremony, Kathy and Cindy find themselves at loggerheads, and Ian decides to drive a tipsy Kathy home to avoid any further drama, but Ian doesn't know that his night is about to take a turn for the worse.

Meanwhile, as Mark and Chelsea flirt, things soon get heated when Mark and Zack argue about Vicki, forcing Lauren to step in.

Outside, Zack and Chelsea almost kiss, but the moment is interrupted, and Chelsea heads back to the marquee, oblivious to the fact that her world is about to be turned upside down.

When Ian and Kathy arrive home in good spirits, Kathy tells him how proud she is that he’s been voted in as Councillor Beale, but the pair are unaware of the events unfolding. However, their happiness is short-lived when they receive a knock at the door.

As more information comes to light, Ian pales to realise there is a chance he could stand to lose everything.

And as dawn breaks in Walford, the residents contemplate their own situations, but it’s clear that the tricky road ahead for a few has only just begun...
