But whose body will Betsy find?

25 APRIL - 1 MAY

This innovative and drama-packed week of episodes takes the viewer back to the day of Carla and Lisa’s wedding.

The first four episodes start at the point that the two brides arrive at Underworld for the reception, with each different visit to the cobbles following the possible final day in the life of one of the potential murder victims.

Friday’s episode brings all the action together, ending in fireworks lighting up the sky to celebrate Swarla’s union and Betsy’s horrifying discovery of the body of one of Weatherfield's residents.

But who has breathed their last, and who has blood on their hands?

In Monday’s episode, Todd is horrified when Theo appears with his packed suitcase in the shop flat.

When George arrives, the pair manage to overpower Theo and escape from the flat. But when they report Theo to Kit, there is no sign of him at the flat.

Desperate to escape, Todd sets off in a cab for the airport, but realises he’s not got his phone and stops the cab. But as he heads back down the street he comes face to face with Theo holding the phone.

What lengths will Todd go to in order to escape this monster once and for all?

In Tuesday’s episode, Debbie tells Ronnie and Kevin that she paid Carl to leave.

But before disappearing, Carl tries to tie up some loose ends and ends up ruffling more feathers as he manages to wind up Abi, Tyrone, Theo and Kevin.

Seething after a text from Kevin, Carl secretly tampers with the brakes on Kevin's car in the garage. Will he be found out and what will be the consequences of his latest act of malice?

In Wednesday’s episode, as Jodie prepares to leave Weatherfield, she hears Shona screaming and runs outside to find her sister being accosted by two men. Clearly knowing they have come for her, Jodie decides to give up the hard drive.

Seeing how upset she is, Shona asks her to stay, but when Jodie makes a discovery that proves Shona lied about never receiving her letter, she is hell-bent on revenge. And David becomes collateral damage, as she makes a bold move to try and break up their marriage.

Finding herself out on the street, Jodie scuttles off into the night, unaware she’s being watched.

In the precinct, Jodie parks herself on the swings, frustrated with herself for messing everything up. When someone approaches, she’s taken aback. Has her past or recent behaviour finally caught up with her?

In Thursday’s episode, Eva, Leanne and Toyah frogmarch Megan into the salon flat to try and force her into confessing her crimes. But she refuses, instead winding them up which results in another scuffle and Megan getting punched in the nose.

To try and get sympathy from Daniel, Megan plays the victim, but he is having none of it.

After being thrown out of No.1 into the ginnel, Megan overhears Maggie and Melanie talking and records some incriminating information about Maggie’s husband’s death on her phone.

Tracking her down, Maggie confronts Megan about the recording, but when Megan reveals a secret of her own, Maggie sees red.

Will the feud between the two result in one of them falling to their death?

In Friday’s episode, while Todd plays a dangerous game of cat-and-mouse to outsmart a vengeful Theo, Summer finds herself caught in the crossfire with terrifying consequences.

Meanwhile, a web of lies begins to unravel for Megan as a shocking secret comes to light, Sarah is caught in the crossfire of a brutal home invasion, and Ronnie takes matters into his own hands on desolate ground.

With the community left reeling, a trail of blood leaves several lives hanging in the balance and a discovery made by Betsy that will change the Street forever. Who didn't make it out alive?

Coronation Street continues Monday to Friday at 8.30pm on ITV1 with first look episodes available from 7am on ITVX
