Can the pair put recent events behind them?
After being asked to take on babysitting duties, it's soon clear that Jack is out of practice and he ends up calling Stacey for help.
When Denise arrives home from holiday early, she wants to know all the Walford gossip, but before Jack can reveal that Sam is staying with them, she bursts in, much to Denise’s disgust.
As Jack launches a charm offensive on Denise to get her to forgive him over the Sam debacle, they soon fall out again when Denise discovers Dean is back and Jack didn’t tell her. And things get even worse when she learns the true circumstances of Sam’s return.
Later, Jack turns to Stacey for support before returning home to angry Denise who tells him to choose between her and Sam. Either Sam goes, or she will!
Whilst Yolande tries to give Denise relationship advice, at the Branning house, Sam understands that she can’t stay and tells Jack that Denise is a good woman and not many people would have taken on his troubled kids.
But as Jack shows Sam out, he sees Ravi mouthing off at Denise and isn't happy. As the pair reconcile, it's clear that Denise and Jack are uneasy around each other.
