Carla accuses Jenny of abandoning her family in favour of her toyboy, after promising Kate a share of Johnny's money.
When Jenny finally sorts out Kate's money, Carla calls in the Rovers to thank her. She also makes it known that she thinks Jenny’s relationship with Leo is inappropriate so soon after Johnny’s death.
Later, Jenny is shocked to receive a call to say that Leo has been injured playing Rugby and rushes to A&E. But when she gets there, she receives an even bigger shock when she realises that she's already met his parents!
Apologising, Carla tells Jenny that it's clear Leo makes her happy and she should go for it. And when Jenny helps Leo in with his bags, she explains to Daisy how he's moving in.
When a downbeat Leo returns from work, he announces that he’s been made redundant. Sympathetic, Jenny insists on cancelling his rent, much to Daisy’s annoyance.
