Jodie's lies backfire as Daniel is targeted by trolls in Corrie

Daniel confides in Jodie that he doesn’t feel ready to face the world just yet, and she tells him she ran into Cassie, making it seem as though Bertie is really missing him and that he needs to pull himself together.

But when he calls to collect Bertie from No.1, Daniel discovers that he's been having the time of his life. And when he returns home, Daniel rounds on Jodie for lying to him. But when Jodie explains that she did it for his own good, will Daniel soften?

Later, Nina shows Daniel and Jodie some vile online posts, suggesting Daniel knew about Megan grooming Will and that he was once guilty of grooming Summer. Who is behind the abuse?

Confiding in Jodie, Daniel tells her that Truthteller, his internet troll, is clearly someone who knows him well. Spotting David by the bar, Jodie suggests it could be him. Could Jodie be right, or is she up to her old games?

When Jodie announces that it’s her birthday, Daniel’s surprised and offers to treat her to lunch.

But as Nick presents Jodie with a birthday cake, everyone sings, the moment is ruined when Shona arrives and reveals that Jodie’s birthday isn’t until December. How will Daniel respond?
