Joel bottles up his emotions as he prepares to say goodbye to Noah in Hollyoaks

Is Leela right to worry about him?

FOR WEEK COMMENCING 29 JULY

With Joel acting distant on the day of Noah's funeral, during the private service, emotions hit him and he decides to not say what he wrote. And after supporting Leela, who breaks down, Warren offers his son some words of advice.

Worried that Warren has made the target on his families back bigger, Norma, when left alone in the flat, is faced with a masked intruder. Unable to run, she is shot and Blue leaves a note for Warren.

Finding Joel’s journal, Leela looks in it and discovers the anger and hurt he's bottling up. And Norma sends the family a Rose bush to plant in memory of Noah along with a note asking them to look after Joel while she’s in Tuscany.

With Joel’s emotions all over the place, Leela worries about him and postpones planting a tree in Noah's memory. After having to cover for Joel on his whereabouts to Leela, Joel comes clean to Abe.

Hollyoaks continues Mondays to Fridays at 7pm on E4 with first look episodes available weekdays at 7.30pm on Channel 4 streaming
