As Joel sets out to tell Daniel what happened, a Father’s Day card stops him in his tracks.
At Price Slice buying Leela supplies, Joel breaks down in Cleo’s arms and confides in his ex-fiance whilst Abe secretly watches on.
With Leela and Joel due to get the postpartum results back today, Daniel overhears the conversation and the family tell him the truth.
But when Misbah breaks the news that the results were inconclusive, Joel has an outburst and punches the wall. And Abe advises him to spend time on his own mental health.
Later, after Joel causes a scene at The Dog, Leela asks him to move back home.
As Leela and Joel start preparations for Noah’s funeral, the pair talk about what Noah would have been like, but it’s painful as Joel tries to hold it together.
At The Dog, the family rally around Leela and Joel, but not able to handle it, Joel runs outside and rings Cleo, telling her she’s the only one he can talk to.
Catching him, Marie gives him a pep talk, encouraging him to stick by Leela. And Joel later apologises to Cleo.
