What will his arrival mean for Victoria?
FOR WEEK COMMENCING 5 AUGUST
When Pollard’s car breaks down, he finds himself stranded and unable to attend an old friend’s funeral and Victoria kindly offers to drive him there.
Once they arrive at the church, Victoria puts her foot in it with a bereaved son at his mum’s funeral. With Victoria stunned that his name is John Sugden, Pollard awkwardly confirms John could actually be her half brother, her dad’s son.
Meanwhile, it’s not long before back in the village Mackenzie receives a call at the garage about a breakdown nearby. As he sets off to help, Pollard and Victoria return to the village and are surprised to find John, who has broken down.
Whilst Victoria is delighted to see him again, it's not long before John ruffles a few feathers with his appearance in the village.
