She confides in Jean that she’s worried that Alfie’s turned to adult entertainment as things have been quiet in the bedroom department following his cancer treatment.

Later, Alfie cooks a romantic meal, but Kat arrives ready to seduce him. Taken aback, Alfie tries to slow things down, leaving Kat hurt and she storms out.

Meanwhile, wedding planner Kim is frustrated by some snags in her plans for Kat and Alfie’s big day.

With Kat at a loss, Jean implores her to talk to Alfie properly, and meanwhile, Patrick gives Alfie the same advice.

As the couple finally have a frank conversation about their issues, they try to find a way forward.

However, when Kat mentions the explicit video she saw on Alfie’s laptop, he’s confused until he works out that it was Tommy who was watching it.

Meanwhile, Vicki tells Ross what she discovered about Joel, and they agree that he needs more positive male role models. Later, they are relieved to see Joel helping Tommy with his wedding speech, hoping their friendship will be good for Joel.

As the day of Kat and Alfie’s wedding arrives, their concerns about Tommy and the video cast a shadow over their happiness. Alfie promises to talk to Tommy, but a series of mishaps distract him.

Later, Alfie admits he’s also made a mess of several wedding tasks, and Kat tells him she’s having second thoughts and the wedding is off!

Devastated by Kat’s decision, an angry rushes out of The Vic, leaving Elaine, Yolande and Kat to congregate over a drink and compare notes on the state of their love lives. And Elaine gives the others pause for thought.

Meanwhile, Alfie gets a pep talk from an unlikely source as he wonders whether he and Kat can get through this.

As Kat and Alfie meet to talk, will the wedding go ahead after all?
