Kat piles the pressure onto Alfie in EastEnders to get Phil's £30k back

Can Alfie win her back with his efforts?

When Kat returns and needs to access Phil’s safe, Alfie panics and is forced to admit he lost £30,000 of Phil’s money. As she piles the pressure on him to get it back, Alfie gets his hands on some old electric items to sell, however his plan backfires.

Kat is annoyed to learn Alfie has been living at no.55 in her absence but after some convincing from the boys, she lets Alfie stay.

As he sells more dodgy products on the market, Alfie asks for Kat’s help and the duo are forced to pack up in a rush when Honey arrives. Despite the hiccup, Alfie earns a fair amount of money and has a heart-to-heart with Kat.

With Phil’s money on his mind, Alfie tells Tommy he can’t help with a school fundraiser but upon seeing how upset his son is, he changes his mind. After overhearing a conversation with Karen and Mack, they get an idea, they tell Kat the exciting news with Alfie promising Kat that this is genuine and has nothing to do with Phil’s money.

When Alfie rallies volunteers for his fundraising idea, Kat is impressed, which gives him a glimmer of hope for their future.

EastEnders continues Mondays to Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One
