Kat takes drastic action to help Zoe as Alfie begins to doubt her story in EastEnders

But is Zoe telling the truth?

As Kat does her best to support Zoe, Alfie insists that he believes there is no foul play, and Zoe meets with the Private Investigator.

Zoe’s day goes from bad to worse when Freddie reveals that her cat has gone. As Zoe searches for her cat, Vicky mocks her, and Anthony offers Zoe an olive branch.

Back at The Vic, Zoe, Kat and Alfie are horrified to discover someone has defaced the Slater family photos.

As Zoe reels from her discovery, Kat is determined to help her daughter and decides to sell her share of the limo business to Harvey.

Meanwhile, Kat and Zoe meet with the investigator, who shares an update on her son. And after talking to the twins, Alfie's suspicions start to grow, before a confronted Zoe admits she defaced the photos herself.

Pleading with Kat, Zoe insists she was only responsible for the defaced photos, and Freddie tries to bolster Zoe, who is distracted when she receives a text from a mystery number claiming to have her cat.

As Zoe rushes to Kat and Alfie, they question the legitimacy, and Kat orchestrates a meeting with Zoe and Anthony as she worries about her daughter’s welfare.

Seeing through their efforts, Zoe causes another scene at The Vic quiz night.
