Kelly is arrested in the search for Seb and Nina's attacker in Corrie

Dev worries about Asha living with 'prime suspect' Corey, Summer blames herself for the attack and Abi won't rest until attacker is caught.

After instructing her to tell the police they were together in the flat when the attack took place, Asha meets with Amy to ensure she doesn't blab. But they're interrupted by Dev who arrives to beg Asha to come home, worried that she's living with a prime suspect.

But when Amy tells Asha to stop covering for Corey, what will she do?

Meanwhile, a frustrated Abi tells Kevin that she’s going to have to find Seb’s attacker herself and quizzes Nina about the attack, but Nina gets upset and admits it’s all a blur.

However, when Kevin reveals to Dev that Nina remembers seeing Corey and Kelly shortly before the attack, Dev is aghast and told that he’d be wise to keep Asha away from Corey.

Awash with panic, Kelly calls to see Corey and asserts that they’re in big trouble and later, the police call at the builder’s yard flat and arrest Kelly.

Stunned and fearful, Toyah watches on as the police gather up Kelly's belongings for examination and Asha watches in horror as Kelly is driven away in a police car.

As the police interview a terrified Kelly, she refuses to answer their questions and returns home with Imran. But whilst Toyah is relieved to see her, Imran warns her Kelly’s not out of the woods by any stretch.

After paying Corey a visit, Kelly suggests they tell the police the truth but he sends her packing and Corey's dad, Stefan, tells him to cut all ties with Kelly.

Toyah and Imran’s attempts to get Kelly to tell the police what happened are hampered when her mum Laura appears and tells her daughter to say nothing to the police,

Having taken a call from the police, Imran tells Kelly they want to ask her some further questions, but Laura’s not having any of it and asserting that she’s Kelly’s mother and she calls the shots, drags her daughter away.

Having discovered that Laura only turned up because her boyfriend threw her out, Laura backs down and lets Imran sit in on the interview.

Calling at Imran and Toyah’s flat, Laura asserts that once Kelly’s been released, she’s coming to live with her as she wants her daughter back. With Imran’s fuming.

When Abi goes to the police station to get them to listen to Seb’s voice message he left her just before he was attacked, Corey walks in with his dad to make a statement. And when Abi tells Kevin that she won’t rest until they’ve caught Seb’s attacker, Kevin feels her pain and steps up.

Unburdening herself to Todd, Summer explains that she was there the night Seb and Nina were attacked but left before anything happened. And Billy is horrified to hear how Summer went joyriding in a stolen car with Corey and his mates and insists she must tell the police all she knows.

Worried, Amy reveals that someone in their class was being nasty to Summer and she ran off, Paul promises to look for her.

When Paul finds a downcast Summer in Victoria Garden, she hides her guilt, confiding in him how she feels partly to blame for the attack as she should have made Kelly leave when she did.

And when Billy finds out that Summer didn’t turn up for school this morning, he’s concerned.

Elsewhere, in the hospital, Roy finds Nina packing her bag who explains that she’s discharging herself as she needs to revisit the scene of the attack to try and jog her memory. Concerned for her well being, Roy talks her out of it.

When Evelyn returns from her train trip, she calls in the cafe and is rude about Kirk’s IQ. Likening her vitriol to that suffered by Nina, Roy throws her out.

Later, returning to the cafe, Evelyn apologises for her insensitive remarks and Roy admits that he overreacted and Evelyn is sympathetic when he tells her he’s just worried about Nina.

And when a police officer calls at No.13, they break the news to Abi and Kevin that they’ve charged someone and it would seem the attack was triggered by Nina’s appearance. As Kevin sees her out, Abi mulls over the news with mounting anger.

Corrie continues Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7.30pm and 8.30pm on ITV
