Kim and Howie take their wedding to Denise’s bedside in EastEnders

It’s a double wedding day as Cindy and Max, and Kim and Howie prepare to say, ‘I do’. And Cindy is upset to discover that most of Walford are opting to attend Kim and Howie’s wedding over hers.

Sad that Denise can’t attend her wedding, Kim is buoyed by Howie's gesture, and at the community centre she is visibly upset at seeing Denise on a video link.

Meanwhile, Howie makes a last-minute change of plan to the proceedings.

Soon, Kim and Howie head to Denise’s hospital room to get married, and the happy moment is enhanced when Denise’s doctor arrives with some good news. They have found a provisional stem cell match.

As Kim and Howie head back to Walford to continue their celebrations at the community centre, they’re shocked to discover that Ryder and Jodie are helping themselves to their drinks without permission.

Meanwhile, Kat attempts to put on a brave face before Kim and Howie’s wedding congregation arrive to continue the celebrations.

And as Ned and Gemma attempt to acquaint themselves with Phil and Sharon, Ned is embarrassed when the moment is interrupted by Kim revealing all about Jodie and Ryder’s behaviour.
