When under Billy’s care, Evan spits up his medication, which results in Dawn losing trust in Billy.
After Nate invites him for beers, a drunk Billy soon returns home, aided by Nate. When Kim covers for Billy's absence, Dawn is worried about Evan's cough and he is rushed to hospital.
With Billy feeling guilty about his lack of social distancing with Nate, Kim takes the blame.
Before long, Rose saves the day after Dawn forgets Clemmie’s birthday, and successfully pulls off a spontaneous birthday party. Whilst Dawn and Will are grateful, Kim finds herself excluded and uninvited.
