Kit finally tells Lisa the truth about his cancer in Corrie

DC McLaughlin tells Lisa that Kit has called in sick for the third time this week and when Lisa receives a report of a shooting on Coronation Street, she hurries out.

In the hospital chemo room, the nurse talks Kit through the side effects of his treatment and urges him to speak to his boss as he won’t be fit for work.

Calling at the station, Kit finds Lisa furiously typing up her notes and rounds on him for failing to answer his calls, But when Kit reveals that he’s got cancer, Lisa’s stunned and promises Kit that she and the force will support him anyway they can.
