Visiting Sarah in prison, Bethany masks her guilt before breaking the news that Kit’s moved on.

As Bethany opens up to Ryan about the fact that Kit’s been seeing other women, Michael enters in a celebratory mood, having been given Sarah’s old job as assistant manager.

Later, Bethany smiles when she receives a text from Ryan, and Kit urges her to go for it as it’s obvious they like each other.

Over drinks, Ryan regales Bethany with funny stories. Will she make her move?

Meanwhile, Kit attends an appointment with the breast cancer consultant to tell him his next steps.

At the station, Lisa puts pressure on Kit to find Luke Cookson’s murderer, but when he snaps at her, Lisa voices her concerns to Bernie.

Chasing after a young lad, Kit accuses him of murdering Luke and spoiling for a fight. Sporting two black eyes, Kit joins the family for pizza night.
