Can Abe convince her to keep his secret and that he's changed?
FOR WEEK COMMENCING 5 AUGUST
After discovering unanswered messages from Abe on the real Kitty’s phone, Kitty replies asking him to leave her alone.
With Cleo not in the mood to celebrate her birthday, she tells Abe she also doesn’t want an open relationship and he manipulates her, suggesting she’s insecure.
Realising that Kitty’s last name is Draper, Abe is suspicious and John Paul tells Theresa he doesn’t believe Cleo is suited to an open relationship.
Later, the McQueens throw Cleo a surprise party and when she tells Misbah that Abe spoilt her for her birthday, Misbah tells Cleo she’s there if she ever wants to talk.
Catching the pretend Kitty out, Abe demands to know where the real Kitty is. Forced into a corner, Kitty tells Abe how she met her at a women’s refuge, and while they tried to make a clean break she died in the car accident.
Abe admits he loved the real Kitty, and Kitty puts the pieces together realising he was the one she was running from. When Kitty rushes to tell Cleo she must leave Abe because he’s dangerous, Abe overhears.
After spending the night in a B&B, Cleo returns and questions Abe on why Kitty would lie about him being abusive towards his ex. As Abe tries to accuse Kitty of lying using the stolen identity to back up his claim, Cleo suggests they go to the police but Abe refuses.
Overhearing, Kitty tells the two McQueens that Abe is a danger to women.
Meanwhile, Ro feels guilty about lying to the police about Declan and Kitty asks Diane for help, saying someone is on to her, but she refuses to do so.
When Abe tells Kitty he’s changed, Kitty says if she gets any reason to believe he’s abusing and manipulating Cleo and Theresa, she’ll take the text messages she has on the real Kitty’s phone no matter what it’ll cost her.
