She'll become entangled in a battle between two of Walford’s beloved drinking establishments!

EastEnders has confirmed that the residents of Walford are in for a treat this summer, as entertainer, singer and comedienne, La Voix, is set to grace the streets of Walford for a surprise Pride performance in The Queen Vic.

In true EastEnders style, La Voix’s performance is entangled in a battle between two of Walford’s beloved drinking establishments, The Queen Victoria and The Prince Albert, who both compete against each other in their celebrations for Pride.

On her guest appearance, which she filmed in April, La Voix said "It was an absolute joy to step onto the iconic EastEnders set and become part of a programme that means so much to so many people. Walking around Albert Square for the first time was a real pinch-me moment!"

"Filming such a special Pride episode made the experience even more meaningful. To celebrate love, community and being proud of who you are on a show that has always been at the heart of British culture is something I’ll never forget. Everyone was so welcoming, and I can’t wait for viewers to see what’s in store."

To which Executive Producer Ben Wadey, added "I’m delighted to welcome La Voix to Walford as we prepare to celebrate Pride, EastEnders-style.  We hope the audience enjoy La Voix’s special guest appearance as much as everyone at EastEnders enjoyed having her in Walford."

EastEnders continues Monday to Thursday at 7.30pm on BBC One with first look episodes available from 6am on BBC iPlayer
