Lauren’s feelings for Mark resurface in EastEnders as he prepares to leave Walford

Lauren is taken aback when she sees Mark across the Square heading into No.43. Struggling with Mark's return, Lauren and Peter argue over Lauren’s knowledge of Max's affair.

Inside, Vicki’s excitement is dashed when Mark reveals he's only back to say goodbye before leaving for Florida.

Believing Mark has returned for her, Lauren seeks him out, only to discover his plans to leave again. And she later apologises to Peter for keeping the truth about Max’s affair from him.

During Harvey's birthday celebrations in The Albert, Mark's arrival unsettles Lauren, and amidst the celebrations, Cindy learns from Louie that Lauren knew about the affair, and exposes Lauren.

As tensions remain high between him and Lauren, Peter is determined to give her the excitement she craves and vows to be more spontaneous.
