Leela thanks Joel for his support with a kiss in Hollyoaks

But was it a mistake? Or was there more to their kiss?

Wanting to support Leela, Joel doesn't know how, so turns to his dad for advice who tells him that all he can do is be there for her.

As Joel goes to help Leela clean the gym, they grow closer and when she admits to being nervous about spending time with him after their recent kiss, they share another. But Donna-Marie isn’t best pleased when she catches them in the act.

Later, when Leela comes across a struggling Donna-Marie she tries to make amends with her best friend by apologising for kissing Joel and promises that it meant nothing. Unbeknown to her he’s listening on around the corner and Donna-Marie accepts her apology.

Back at home, Joel tells Leela that he overheard her conversation and he shouldn’t have taken advantage while she was vulnerable. How will the pair decide to move forward?
