At a tasting event, Victoria mistakenly tells Jacob that a slider is nut-free, leading to an allergic reaction. And panic ensues after a frantic search for an Auto Adrenaline Injector. As Jacob manages to indicate that there's one in his car, Victoria rushes to retrieve it.
But as Jacob weakens, Leyla struggles and Victoria can't find the pen as she frantically searches Jacob's car.
Learning about Jacob's allergic reaction, David rushes to the hospital. Furious at Victoria's mistake, Leyla soon seeks revenge.
Later, Victoria admits her mistake to Gabby, who loses potential buyers for HOP. Shocked to find Victoria still there, Leyla threatens to ruin her business, leaving Gabby with no choice but to fire Victoria.
