Tempted to buy a bottle of wine, Linda changes her mind after some words from Rainie and, much to Janine's frustration, turns her focus to planning the Square’s Jubilee celebrations.
Thrilled to see Linda hosting a planning meeting, Mick notices Karen leaving the meeting and goes to console her, realising it’s because Chantelle won’t be here. After the two agree to honour who they’ve lost, Mick asks Kathy to host a party in Tina's honour.
Feeling positive, Linda wants to use her new cash to expand The Vic’s business but she is deflated when Mick implies he can’t trust her.
As Linda contemplates having a drink, she overhears Kim and Denise talking about needing an investor for the salon.
The next day, Linda approaches Denise and Kim in Ruby’s, offering to invest in the salon. After some deliberation, Denise agrees and both she and Kim are shocked when Linda offers £50k by the end of the day.
After Jack questions Denise about Linda's investment, they both talk to her and assured that she's serious, Linda signs the contract. She is now the co-owner of the salon and Jack and Denise tell a delighted Sam the news.
Meanwhile, Frankie and Nancy visit the unit and run into the owner who reveals he was told the letting fell through.
As Linda celebrates her new investment with her family and Janine, Nancy receives a call to say that the estate agents never received the money.
It doesn’t take Linda long to work out what happened and confronts Janine, threatening to tell Nancy the truth.
As the residents throw themselves into the Jubilee celebrations, over at The Prince Albert, Mick shares some words for Tina before the talent competition begins.
Desperate to fix things, Linda pleads with Denise for her money back and when Sharon overhears, Linda is forced to admit what’s happened. Encouraged to tell Nancy the truth, what will Linda do?
Disgusted at Janine’s behaviour, Sharon gets her own back.
