Lisa agrees to a new life in Spain with Becky and Betsy in Corrie

But will she get a chance to say goodbye to Carla?

 20 DECEMBER - 2 JANUARY

Lisa reads a text from Carla informing her that she wants her name taken off the mortgage. When she then sees a picture on Carla’s socials showing her sipping a cocktail, “living her best life”, Lisa masks her hurt.

And Becky masks her panic when Lisa reveals that Costello is showing signs of improvement and they’re moving him to a rehab clinic.

As Costello is wheeled out of the hospital, Becky approaches and flashes Lisa’s police badge at the porter, asserting that she’ll take it from here. As Costello stares at her in horror, what does she have planned?

Becky urges Lisa to forget about Carla and enjoy Christmas and when Lisa complains of tension in her neck, Becky gives her a massage. But when she starts to kiss her on the back of her neck, how will Lisa respond?

When Becky suggests that there’s nothing to stop them from rekindling their old life, Lisa sends Carla a text telling her how much she loves her and how she’d do anything to win her back.

Later, Lisa watches Betsy fondly as she unwraps her presents and when Becky kisses the back of her neck, she forces a smile.

And after receiving a text from Roy informing her that Carla never checked into her hotel in Lanzarote, Lisa’s worried.

When Sarah tells Kit that Carla still isn’t responding to emails which seems odd, he flips through Carla’s diary. What will he find?

Later, Kit asks Asha to do some digging and find out from the ambulance crew who looked after Costello if he mentioned any particular words. Calling Kit, she informs him that according to her colleague, Costello kept repeating 3 words and Kit realises it’s a three word location reference.

Visiting Costello in hospital, Kit tells him that he’s located the flat and knows it belongs to him, but there was nobody there. But Costello gives nothing away. With Kit having gone, Becky emerges from the en suite and thanks Costello for covering for her.

On New Year's Day, Lisa tells Becky that she’s prepared to move to Spain with her but not until she’s seen Carla as she deserves to hear the news from her. But as Betsy and Lauren hang out at No.6, Becky decides it’s time to speed things up with horrifying consequences!

Handing Sarah an envelope, Lisa asks her to return Carla’s engagement ring to her when she finally shows up.

At the Chariot Square, Becky persuades Lisa that they need to ditch their phones for safety reasons. Becky heads out, promising she’ll be back with new phones before they leave for the ferry.
