Lou risks everything to protect Debbie as her behaviour spirals in prison in Corrie

When Debbie and Lou head back to their cells, Debbie suddenly becomes disoriented. And when Debbie accuses a prison officer of stealing her journal, Lou starts a fight with another inmate to cause a distraction, worried that Debbie might ruin her chances of an appeal.

Later, Kevin and Jack visit Debbie and tell her that Adam is optimistic about her appeal. And when Debbie struggles to open a carton of orange juice, Jack comes to her aid.

When Lou presents her with a lucky clover that she made in the woodwork class, and tells her it’ll bring her luck tomorrow at her appeal, Debbie’s touched.
