Manpreet, Moira and Aaron are in for a shock when their past catches up with them in Emmerdale

As Paige Sandhu, Lawrence Robb and Simon Lennon plays three new arrivals, each joining the soap in the coming weeks.

Could this mean trouble for Manpreet? Bad memories for Moira? Love for Aaron?

When Manpreet's sister Meena arrives in the village, played by Paige Sandhu, she immediately turns Billy’s head the moment he sees her. Green with jealousy, Dawn doesn't enjoy watching this new girl in full flirtation mode with her ex!

Quickly, Meena proves to be a live wire and Manpreet wants to know exactly what she is doing in the village as she doesn’t trust her one iota. But will we find out what happened between the sisters to make them fall out?

Speaking about her character's imminent arrival, Paige Sandhu said “Meena is such a fun and complex character to play and I’m really looking forward to seeing how people react to her. I’m loving working with both Rebecca and Bhasker and they have made me feel so welcome.”

She's known for being fiercely independent and seemingly proud of her roots, but how will

Moira Dingle feel when her brother Mackenzie comes to the village? And what exactly is their dark past? Can they ever come to terms with each other’s version of events?

The role of Mackenzie will be played by Lawrence Robb who said “I am absolutely thrilled to be moving into Emmerdale village as ‘MacKenzie.’ I have had so much fun playing around with the character already, and to do it in Britain's most famous village is just the cherry on top. I couldn’t be further from ‘Mac’ in real life, so playing him will no doubt have its challenges, but I’m more than up for the ride! I can’t wait to don my wellies and wreak some havoc."

And when Aaron Dingle comes across Ben, played by Simon Lennon, who is working at the Hide Cafe, Ben quickly informs him they used to go to school together. But Aaron is mortified when Ben reminds him how he treated him and realises he has got some serious making up to do if they are going to become better acquainted.

Speaking about joining Emmerdale Simon Lennon said “I’m so excited to be joining the cast of Emmerdale. I feel so lucky to be a part of such an established, fantastic show. Everyone has been so welcoming and I can’t wait to see what unfolds for Ben. Ben and Aaron Dingle have a lot of history and it will all come to the forefront when they’re reunited after a long time apart.”

Emmerdale continues weeknights at 7pm from Monday 14th September with current episodes airing Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 7pm on ITV
