After Ross tries to persuade April she needs professional help to assist Dylan come off spice, Rhona discovers some ketamine missing from the drugs cabinet at the vets and the most likely suspect is Dylan.
Despite Dylan denying it was him, when the ketamine is found in his coat pocket, April is crushed by his betrayal.
Later, Rhona is horrified when Marlon admits it was him, in an attempt to frame Dylan. And theyre both soon shocked to hear that Dylan has overdosed.
Seeing Dylan in critical condition in hospital, Marlon’s distraught and desperate to confess to April, but Rhona reminds him this will only alienate his daughter all over again.
Marlon implores with Dylan as he confesses all and how he regrets his actions, explaining how he only had his concern for his daughter in his mind. After offering to pay for Dylan to go to rehab, Marlon is deeply touched when Dylan tells him not to upset April by telling her the truth about planting the drugs.
When Marlon arrives to take him to rehab he’s torn when Dylan wants to see April and left on tenterhooks as Dylan has something to tell her. Will he tell April what Marlon did and shatter their fragile relationship?
Meanwhile, Marlon and Rhona hold Rebecca’s funeral without April but agree she needs involving in scattering her child’s ashes.
After they broach the subject, they’re left forlorn as April’s determined to have nothing to do with the ritual. But will she change her mind?
